This will take place around the Ranger’s Office (SW19 5NR)
See the Essex Dog Display Team, Bird of Prey display,Horse Show by Wimbledon Village Stables, Tractor/trailer rides, Funfair, Mini land-rover rides for children and much more
Wimbledon Abundance Fruit Day 2019 § Saturday 14th Sept 11am - 2.30pm
St Marks Church Garden (behind Wimbledon Library)
Lots to buy, music and fruity games for children and adults.
Open House at the Art Studios in the Park § Sunday 22nd September from 9:00 am
The Friends of Cannizaro will have a stall on the main lawn.
Wimbledon Guild Waggy Walk § Saturday 28 September
On Saturday 28 September, Merton based charity Wimbledon Guild is holding a family dog walk on Wimbledon Common to help raise money for local people in Merton who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
The event is open to everyone, with and without dogs.
Wimbledon BookFest 2019 § 3-13 October
The popular literary festival returns to Wimbledon Common on 3rd October for a 10-day run - with a sensational line-up!
Headliners for this year include Nadiya Hussain, cricketer Sir Alistair Cooke, Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, Booker Prize-winning novelist Ben Okri, Emily Maitlis and Levison Wood (both pictured below), Mariella Frostrup and many more! The comedy night will be headlined by Adam Kay and Bridget Christie, and for 2019 BookFest is also introducing a new programme of workshops, walks and even gin-tasting! Events for families/children including Harry Hill, Chris Ryan, Jacqueline Wilson, Andy Stanton, Chris Riddell, Nell Gifford and Konnie Huq.
Wimbledon International Music Festival § 9th - 24th November
This year will again see a ‘galaxy’ of world-class musicians in Wimbledon to create some unforgettable musical experiences.
Sixteen days at the end of November will be devoted to glorious music-making in Wimbledon and nearby areas. The Festival period is chosen to embrace St Cecilia’s Day, November 22nd, and the Festival likes to celebrate the Patron Saint of Music with events involving the community.
